The Biotechnology Track in the Biology Major
For students who wish to pursue graduate work in molecular biology or enter analytical and research laboratories in medical, pharmaceutical, dental, veterinary, animal, plant, microbial, and food sciences. Students will learn various techniques and scientific procedures in molecular biology, virology, bioengineering, cell and tissue culture, microscopy, and bioinformatics.

- Complete one of the following (CHM, MAC or BSC): CHM 1025 or CHM 2045 and CHM 2045L; MAC 1140, MAC 1114, MAC 1147 or MAC 2311; or BSC 2010 and BSC 2010
Semester 2:
- Complete CHM 2045 and CHM 2045L and MAC 2311
Semester 3:
- Complete CHM 2046 and CHM 2046L, BSC 2010 and BSC 2010L
Semester 4:
- Complete BSC 2011 and BSC 2011L
Semester 5:
- Complete all critical-tracking courses, including labs
